Ayurvedic Tongue Cleaner

The tongue is the first line of defense of the immune system. It is an organ of vital importance in oral health, but also in general. Located between the inner world and the outer world, it has a direct connection with the digestive system, especially with the stomach, the small intestine and the large intestine.

According to Ayurveda, the traditional medicine of India, the coating that covers your tongue reflects the health of your digestive system. A healthy tongue is pinkish in color covered with a thin whitish coating, however an unhealthy tongue will be covered in a thick yellow, white or gray coating.

HOW TO USE IT?

3. Glide from behind towards the tip of the tongue, repeating the movement between 5 and 10 times. Do not perform the reverse movement: always from the back to the front.

4. Wash the 100% copper tongue cleaner after each pass.

5. When finished, rinse your mouth with lukewarm water and clean the scraper with plenty of water.
